GIS stands for “Geographic Information System”. For local governments, a GIS is a computer technology that combines geographic data (the locations of man-made and natural features on the earth’s surface) with other types of data (names, classifications, values, etc.) to manipulate, analyse and present information (maps and reports.)
GIS is used as a visualization and analysis tool and can be
