Terms and Conditions: These Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, apply to the e-mailing of statements by the City of Johannesburg (“we/us") to the Customer ("you/your") and constitute an agreement.

By your agreeing to the electronic delivery of your municipal statement/s, the electronic statement will be regarded as the ORIGINAL TAX INVOICE.

You must be an existing customer to register to receive your account by email/MMS.

As the account holder, you are considered the primary recipient and the email/cell number provided under the PRIMARY ACCOUNT HOLDER will receive the ORIGINAL TAX INVOICE.

It is your responsibility to print your electronic statement. We cannot take responsibility if a customer chooses to receive statements electronically but is unable to print the statements.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure that no unauthorized person/s and/or third party have access to your log-in, e-mail, cell number, your passwords and PIN number. In the event that an unauthorized person/s and/or third party gains access, we shall under no circumstances whatsoever, be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your confidential information being disclosed.

We have no control over electronic statements being received by you and you agree that we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused to you as a result non-receipt of, or delay in receiving, your electronic statements.
