Registration


What is the cost to register?

There is no cost to you if you register. The City of Johannesburg is providing this service to its citizens completely free of charge.


I want to register?

If you do not have an e-Services Username and Password, you will need to register and create your username and password. Individuals can register using their South African ID number or Passport Number. Companies can register with a valid company registration number that was registered at CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission)

Non-Profit Organizations (Trusts, Sectional Titles and Body Corporates) please register as an individual.

Follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Complete the registration form

Step 2: A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.  Please click the link to confirm your registration.



Cannot register, username already exist?   

The username you selected was already taken by another user.  Please select another username.   

Step 1:    Example:  USERNAME:  Sally (Username already exist) Try to use S4lly01 or Sally26



I forgot my password?   

If you cannot remember your password select the forgot password link to request your password to be reset.


Step 1:   Select Forgot Password link and complete the form

Step 2:  A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.  Please click the link in your email to confirm your registration.

HINT: Your password is cAse sEnsiTive - check your Caps Lock.​




I don't receive a confirmation email after registration

If you do not receive a confirmation email after you registered or used the forgot password facility, please log a query.

Step 1:  Select the "Log a website query" link and complete the form. 




My username and password does not allow me to login

With the launch of the new e-Services website all passwords needs to be reset. 

Step 1:  Select the "Forgot Password" link on the right hand side of the screen which is located under the LOGIN Button

Step 2:  Enter your Username and the Captcha and select the submit button.  You will receive a confirmation email to the email address on our records.  If your email address changed, select the "Log a website query" link and complete the form. 


HINT: Your password is cAse sEnsiTive - check your Caps Lock.​


LOGIN ISSUES


When I login, I get an error message that my username is invalid?  

  • Retype your username, paying attention to spelling and spaces

  • Try adding a space behind the username, as people often inadvertently add a space when registering.

  • Select the "Forgot Password"  link and request a new password. Your password will be e-mailed to you.



Still not receiving an email confirmation after requesting my login details?

I am not receiving an email confirmation after requesting my login details?

If you do not receive an email after you have clicked the forgotten password link, it is possible that your current email address differs from the one on our records and the email has been sent to your old address. please Log a Website Query and request your login details.
