Valuation Services - Objection Forms A, B and C 
Current (and proposed) legislation makes ample provision for any person to object to an entry in a valuation roll, provided that such objection takes place in the prescribed manner and within the prescribed objection period. An objection will be heard and considered by a Valuation Board and a Valuation Appeal Board, should you wish to appeal against the findings of the former. Each new valuation roll must be advertised in a prescribed manner, and such roll must be made available to the public for inspection and objection. Once the inspection period has closed and a valuation roll has been certified, no more objections can be entertained. However, we invite you to correspond with us regarding such matters, as there are a few conditions under which a supplementary valuation may be performed. 

  • FORM A = Residential

  • FORM B = Properties other than Residential or Agricultural (e.g. Businesses, Factories, Offices and Schools)

  • FORM C = Agricultural holdings and farms


Refunds Application Form 
REFUNDS are given on credit balances and deposits once a City account has been closed. 
They are also issued for inactive accounts that have a credit balance.

The most convenient method for you and the City is to pay by debit order.

Building Plans Applications Forms 
Download the three forms below for building applications. Print them out and fill them in, then submit them to the Development Planning department counter at the Metro Centre in Braamfontein.
